Stingray Writing is a single-member LLC providing boutique writing and digital marketing services. Based in Lincoln, Nebraska (and with clients all over the world), I officially started my company in 2022. But my roots go way back.

I’m Brittany Wren, owner and Chief-of-All-the-Things at Stingray Writing.

People also know me as a contractor, freelancer, consultant, and fractional marketing & communications director.

My clients’ audiences feel understood and moved to action. I write intentionally so that their content becomes a trusted, reliable resource.

During my 9+ years of experience as a B2C and B2B content writer, editor, and strategist, I’ve successfully created hundreds (maybe thousands… I stopped counting!) of content projects in the following areas:

Working together

Communication

This is my full-time job, and I work hard at it! You can expect emails from me within 24 business hours during normal workdays, Monday-Friday, though I do work asynchronously, so my response times can vary. If we need to talk through a project, I’m always happy to jump on the phone, Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet.

Time Off

I follow a pretty normal vacation schedule of 2-3 weeks off per year, all the federal holidays, and a few long weekends. I try to give my clients ample notice of extended vacation time so they can also plan to meet their goals.

Delivery

I love to work in monthly sprints, so clients can expect delivered work by the end of the month. Typically, I deliver content via Google Docs, but I can also work with whatever platform you need, from Microsoft Word to Trello or WordPress.

I also rely on several regular freelance writers, editors, and designers who I trust to help me deliver the highest-quality work. I handle all the client interactions and editing to ensure consistency and quality.

This arrangement means I get to go on vacation sometimes (yah!) and play with my kiddos after school without ghosting clients or going broke.

I hire people I believe in, from the pros to emerging writers. When I was new to the content marketing field, all I wanted was a chance to prove I could do it, and I’ll be forever grateful to the people who took that chance on me. Now I want to pay it forward.
